Michael Yee, Esq

When Sacramento estate lawyer, Michael Yee, founded the Yee Law Group, PC, his goal was to provide clients with the tools and information they needed to make informed decisions regarding estate planning, asset protection, real estate, and more. Michael’s focus is helping his clients protect and build their assets in order to be able to leave their families financially secure when the day comes they are no longer here.

Michael is dedicated to making sure his clients succeed. It is that dedication that has become a family tradition. He is a descendent of Sacramento pioneers and comes from a long line of professionals serving the community. His great-great-grandfather – a renowned herbalist – arrived in California during the Gold Rush era, healing patients using traditional Chinese remedies, and is famous for saving the life of the wife of the governor.

Michael’s grandfather is a well-known South Land Park retired dentist, commercial real estate investor, and community leader. Dr. Herbert Yee spent more than 50 years in the dental profession, including as the official dentist for both Governors Pat Brown and Ronald Regan.

Michael chose the law as his way to help the community. He studied international business law at the Anderson School of Management, followed that up by earning his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2008.

Immediately following graduation, he was admitted to the State Bar of California and was hired by one of Sacramento’s oldest and most well-respected real estate law firms, where he soon made partner. Shortly thereafter, Michael made the decision to open the Yee Law Group, which has become one of the leading estate planning law firms located in Sacramento.

Michael is legal counsel for multiple real estate investment companies and is very active in the community, including serving on various boards. When he isn’t working, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing tennis, and golfing.
