Title: Differences Between Long-Term Care and Healthcare Facilities
Michael Brusca, Esq.
Michael Brusca from Davis & Brusca Trial Lawyers is skilled in nursing home law and passionate about making sure elderly loved ones are cared for properly. He has experienced firsthand what it is like to have a family member die in an assisted living home, which is why he wants to make sure these homes are held accountable for the way they treat their residents.
As a Cherry Hill, NJ nursing home lawyer, Michael has worked in this field since 2009 and has extensive experience in nursing home law. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the national Nursing Home Litigation Group for the American Association for Justice. In the past, some of his writing has been featured in the New Jersey Law Journal and in “Trial,” the attorney magazine published and disseminated nationally by the American Association for Justice. Michael also served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, and has practiced all around the world. He was also lead counsel in the famous nursing home case, Dwyer v. Harborview, which ended up settling for a good amount.
Since Michael is so passionate about nursing home law, he shares his knowledge and prosecuting tips with other attorneys across the United States so that more people can be held accountable for caring for the elderly population. He believes every person deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, which is why it is crucial to have good nursing home abuse lawyers all over the world. This is a big reason Michael lectures across the country — so he can make a difference, even in places he is not local to. The more lawyers know how to combat nursing home violence, the higher the standards and protocol in place will be for all assisted living staff.
